Enter from the courtyard into the hall. Left are the stairs and the twin downstairs bedroom. Opposite is the bathroom. Although this is the ground floor unlike the Stables it doesn't have a walk in bathroom so it not suited for the less able, however it does mean that guests can avoid stairs making it very suitable for the elderly. On the right is the fitted kitchen with dining area, seating up to 6 people. Through the kitchen leads to the luxurious lounge area. As with the other cottages there is a patio and barbecue area with views over the lakes and surrounding countryside.
Upstairs is the double bedroom or twin bedroom (your choice) and shower room. There is also a twin attic room. This room is in the apex of the roof, so standing room is limited to the centre of the room. It is a room with bags of character, and makes an ideal room for kids or the more adventurous adult!

Built onto the granary in the 1920's, this was a purpose built dairy for what was, in those times, a large herd of about 30 cows. The passage of time then finally caught up with it and the milking was moved to a purpose built modern facility on another site on the farm. The building then became a store for seed grain and feed concentrates, all of which had to find a new home when we started the conversions.
All our cottages are finished to the highest modern standard and include the following:
